Job Description: **Position is dependent upon approved funding. Anticipated hire will start in August 2013 if funding approval is granted.

This is a full-time tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, which begins August 2013 in the Business Department.

The preferred candidate for this position will be expected to teach 15 hours per semester at the undergraduate level, participate in departmental and university activities, and provide academic advising. The primary teaching area is accounting with a desired secondary focus in managerial finance. A candidate is sought who will help develop the BBA programs with an emphasis on technology, innovation and sustainability.

Minimum Qualifications:
MBA or related Master's Degree
CPA or CMA
Demonstrated teaching experience at the college/university level, both in the classroom and in mentoring students outside the classroom, with excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in related area

Preference will be given to candidates with relevant work experience and teaching in accounting and finance. Evidence of having achieved excellence in college-level teaching is a plus. High value is placed on a team player who brings a variety of teaching interests.

Strong preference for candidates who demonstrate knowledge of innovative learning technologies and program delivery, along with online teaching experience in highly collaborative discussion-based asynchronous courses.
